Dear all,

The silence of the last two weeks was due to a server migration. The
list is now hosted on a different machine.

Importantly, to post to the list of the Institute for Distributed
Creativity (iDC) you now mail to iDC at mailman.thing.net

Our apologies go to all who tried to post (and bounced) and those whose
threads were truncated, especially Eric Gordon and Kevin Hamliton.

While this list was created in September 2004, it really kicked off in
October 2005. This is good moment to thank all of you for your active
and silent participation, your thoughtful posts, criticism, and
inspiring conversational research.

For the past years, The Thing (TT) in New York City has hosted this
list. Darrel at TT fixed it when it was broken, which was quite a bit of
invisible labor. For this support we'd like to thank everybody at The
Thing and Wolfgang Staehle in particular.
