[iDC] Emily Alexander Introduction

Hello everyone,

I have been following along with the iDC for several weeks now and
Trebor suggested I introduce myself to the group.
My name is Emily Alexander, I am a recent graduate of Eugene Lang
where I studied writing and visual art. I now have a part-time
position with the United Nations helping to construct guidelines for
the UN and Social Media. I have invited the other members of the UN
Social Media Committee to the conference in hopes that the issues of
New Media and developing countries, politics, activism, and censorship
will be discussed. If you have any helpful references or information
relating to these topics, please let me know.

I am eagerly anticipating the Digital Labor conference, both as it
relates to the upcoming programs with the UN and as it relates to my
freelance work as a writer and photographer.
