thank you for this philosphical line in your short report:

actually, my question is also a bit about Freedom and how it should be enabled
further, I mean sharing freely while safeguarding attribution.

it is about graphs that illustrate what a text says (in our case,
www.ctt-journal.com, it is graphs in medical research articles):

we would like to find a nice and lenient way to let those graphs off the article's
leash and yet make sure everyone knows in which context they were published - this
being a quite important issue in medical fields as you can imagine,

what do you do about your own graphs on the web if they are easily downloadable?
do you have any best practice examples, free floating ideas or tipps for the
scientifc context we're operating in?
